Website Usage:

For every visitor to our website, our server automatically logs the domain name or IP address of the user. IONS is a membership organization, and we maintain a privacy policy regarding the personal information we share with our partners, community groups, and like-minded organizations. If you are an IONS member, or become one through our website, your personal mailing information may be shared with like-minded organizations. If you prefer to opt out of such information sharing, you may remove your name from our shared lists by contacting our membership department at membership@noetic.org or 877-769-4667. (You may also remove your name from the direct mail list of all organizations by contacting the Direct Mail Marketing Association at 212-768-7277.)

In order to sign up as an IONS member online, or to use the members-only area of our site, we require a valid email address and/or valid financial information. IONS makes every effort to insure security in the collection and transfer of sensitive financial and user information using widely accepted standards of data collection and encryption.

Your email address will be used to send mailings of our online newsletter, iShift. If you do not wish to receive the newsletter, you may unsubscribe by sending an email message with the word "unsubscribe" to EListMgr@noetic.org.

Public Forums:

IONS' website makes forums, chat rooms, and other public venues available to visitors to our site. Any information disclosed in these venues is public information, thus caution should be exercised when disclosing personal information in these forums. Be aware that individuals may "trawl" our website to collect email addresses of other users. IONS strongly condemns this practice, and reserves the right to bar individuals who violate any implicit or explicit legal terms of use from using our website.
